Character file "life span" ?

Are chars permanently on the server until removed? Or is there a garbage cleanup. :?

At the moment, character files remain on the server until the owner/player deletes them(self).


At some point, character files may be removed - such as the 22 or 23 that haven't seen any acitivity since Oct-2003
